WD has officially opened its Service Center in the Philippines as of August 1, 2012.

“Located in 2111 Chino Roces avenue corner Urban Avenue, Makati City, WD Service Center will be opened from 8 am to 5 pm on Monday, 8 am to 6 pm Tuesday to Friday, and 8 am to 12 noon on Saturday. The WD Service Center will be closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Beginning August 1, 2012, customers will be able to bring their in-warranty drives to WD Service Center and receive their replacement drive immediately. If the required model is not available, WD Service Center representatives will contact customers for collection of their replacement drives once ready. This warranty service is available on all WD products sold through WD authorized distribution channels in the Philippines.”

Also do note that the WD Store in SM North EDSA would no longer be accepting drives for repair/RMA. We would need to go to the main service center in Makati.
